@dinopontino@liftblog@eastdakota@vailmtn You forgot the new West Face high speed quad and Pinecone Ridge fixed grip triple. (The old Eagle lift being repurposed there)
Standing at the mid-station at Big Dutch… it’s hard not to feel the momentum building. Every day we get a little closer to the big reveal of Deer Valley’s new 10-passenger gondola. One of ten new lifts serving 100 new runs this season.
@slimjim33_33@liftblog@armedhippy4 Here's a link to that map, it gets updated daily. The percentages are compared to the 30 year average for whatever date you generate that map, so it's always up to date.

WEATHER UPDATE: Rain, possible thunderstorms & lightning expected in/near BRC over the next hour. The Gate is CLOSED in both directions. Current wait on Gate Road is ~7 hrs. If you’re in Reno, delay travel & stay tuned here for updates.
@MiepGeese@bmantraffic I added a bunch of solar this year and cut my generator use in half. Why didn’t you interview me?
Is it because I didn’t fit your negative narrative?
@bmantraffic “In my repeated exchanges with BurningMan spokespeople & sustainability staff for this article…they never copped to the rising emissions or their implications, instead emphasizing Burning Man’s expansion of renewable energy generation”
Not enough, Borg.

Keep your eyes on the road and your speed no higher than 10mph on the road from BRC to the highway. Current travel time is approximately 20 minutes. Please be courteous to the volunteers and respect the speed limits in local communities. \<>/
Average travel time from Greeters to blacktop is 3h 30m. Listen to 95.1 FM (Gate Advisory Radio Station, GARS) for specific info about Exodus when you are headed out. GARS and BMIR at 94.5 FM will broadcast current travel times. 📻
@bmantraffic Idk how accurate this is. We left around 10:45, short after we inched our way through a whiteout for about 30 min and we've been stuck ever since it cleared short after. We haven't moved an inch in about an hour. Thank you @elonmusk for Starlink!
@SnowSnowSnow@bmantraffic My camp mates have been leaving all day yesterday and today and reporting their time from leaving the city to the road. It is consistently longer (sometimes way longer) than this official account. What’s your experience?
Average travel time on Gate Road from Greeters to pavement is about two and a half hours.
All lanes are designated outbound only. The speed limit is 5mph.
@bmantraffic Public Service Announcement: This account has been undercounting exit time consistently since exodus began (just look at comments confirming undercount). Without transparency (this account never engages), be very wary of trusting it.
@VandelayRusty@bmantraffic No, and it looks like we might get more rain . It sprinkled a little a few minutes ago. They have roads somehow blocked to burners, really no one has come to near the gate since we got here around 5 am or so…just org people and police , etc
The Gate into Black Rock City is still closed. Delay your travel until we announce that the Gate has reopened. It is not safe to wait on the side of the highway on the way to BRC. Please continue to monitor this channel for updates.

Weather forecasts now indicate rain may start around 5am this morning. We do not expect large amounts of rain, though rainfall would impact ingress to Black Rock City.
We believe that if the rain is imminent around 5am, we may close Gate Road.
