It’s a moot point it should be fair!!! Please tell me your thoughts. Here is a system that is all about tradition and keeps their sacred conference championships alive and makes the process fair! The system creates a fair, competitive, and meaningful college football postseason by combining the importance of conference championships with the integrity of national rankings. It does this without automatic bids, bloated playoff fields, or extra weeks for championship games. Final Rankings (based on AP/Coaches and computer) but we will use CFP this year and it can be used in future if fair. ✅After the regular season ends: •The playoff committee publishes the final national rankings. •All teams receive a bye week to rest and prepare for championship week. •These rankings determine Championship Games and first round. This protects the regular season as the most important part of college football, where all games matter. Each major conference holds a TRUE CHAMPIONSHIP game between the two highest-ranked teams in that CONFERENCE! If it was this year this is how it would look! Conference Championships! •Big Ten: Ohio State vs Indiana •SEC: Georgia vs Ole Miss •Big 12: Texas Tech vs BYU •ACC: Miami vs Virginia These four games preserve the tradition and value of conference titles while ensuring only the deserving teams play for them. “Next 8 Teams” (Ranking-Based, Not Conference-Based) The next eight highest-ranked teams face off in a national play-in round. This gives strong non-champions a path into the playoff while keeping the field elite. This avoids undeserving auto-bids and guarantees the best teams advance. Play-In Matchups based on this years final CFP! •Oregon vs Utah •Texas A&M vs Vanderbilt •Oklahoma vs Texas •Alabama vs Notre Dame These are high-quality, meaningful games! The Field Narrows to 8 for Jan 1 - Bowl Season and Championship!! The committee then re-ranks the top 8 teams: With a clean Top 8: •Quarterfinal bowl matchups are set using the new rankings Fair Access for G5 Teams The rule is simple and objective: If a Group of 5 team finishes ranked around the Top 16, they’re in. No automatic bids. No forced inclusions. Just deserved access based on results. This eliminates the politics that often surround G5 teams. This format balances tradition and modern fairness better than the real 12-team playoff actually a 16 team playoff but inclusive of Championship Games! ✔ Conference titles matter and become valued again! ✔ Rankings matter again ✔ Regular season matters again ✔ G5 access is fair ✔ No bloated playoff ✔ No undeserving auto-bids ✔ Bowls keep prestige ✔ All games have meaning not useless conference championships. It’s clean. It’s competitive. It’s logical. And it might be the best hybrid system possible.

@gpatterson828 I am with most everyone, depends on service, but I usually always tip 15-20% at minimum. If service and food was really good and had a great night, round it up to $100 total. Always nice to make a servers night with a great tip.

Drug is scary. I honestly feel bad for these people. It’s no way to live.

So a server who probably worked less than an hour was going to make over $50 for that hour plus his $20 and hour pay, making it $70 an hour and let’s just say he only had one other table and they tipped $50, so $120 an hour to have no responsibility but to be sure you get your food! WTF, go put your life on the line for less than half that, such entitlement!!!! I always tip well and that is just ridiculous! 25% tip is plenty and the server should have been over joyed!

My husby and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $200. I left a $50 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable. But the waiter looked at it and flat-out refused to take it. ​He told us that if we weren’t willing to leave at least $85, we shouldn’t be eating out in the first place. ​I was honestly caught off guard. I felt embarrassed sitting there, like we’d done something wrong. We weren’t trying to be cheap or disrespectful — I genuinely thought $50 was a fair tip for that bill.
