Freeman High School Social Studies

So incredibly proud of this brand-new @GoldenFHSEagles Academic Decathlon team. In a tournament with more than 350 competitors and three schools that have each won state in their divisions, our first-year team walked in with no seniors—just sophomores and juniors—and walked out with a 4th place finish and an impressive medal count to show for it. Going up against legacy programs is no small feat, but these students proved they absolutely belong at the table. Their grit, talent, and heart made this weekend unforgettable. Now it’s time to gear up and prepare for Districts in December.
