A lot of people come to us thinking they know the problems they need to solve. We don't solve the problems they think they have. Instead, we start with empathy and insight. When did you last interrogate your problems (and opportunities) before developing ideas and solutions?

@gemmidwife2020 @NHSEngland @NHS I completely understand. My family is mixed race - I’m personally and professionally familiar with these issues. Our work with WHO highlighted this in multiple counties. I’m not suggesting a soft option / just keen to see it embedded. Love to meet if you’re still here.

@SocialKinetic1 @NHSEngland @NHS Thank u for ur reply. Ur approach may have worked 20+ yrs ago b4 the devastation of the realities of health inequalities took hold. I don’t think parents of a baby admitted onto ICU just because of their skin tone would agree with u. This is our reality, not just a paper exercise
