@gmiller Most people see ‘life without struggle’ and they want it. It’s not some ‘stupid mistaken people’ thing. It’s a desire you can’t just shift with some ‘be realistic’ push back. The irony is UBI would not provide a platform for them to ‘live without struggle’.

@ThatTFgal84 Marx: increase constant capital to reduce the demand on humans to sell themselves.
Xi: ok, let’s do that.
Today’s Marxists: Xi is wrong, we should end it all and just be Bakuninists.
English

I think Xi should follow his own advice.

"Communists should cultivate the habit of reading Marxist classics and understanding their principles as part of their daily lives" - President Xi
English

@IRMilitaryMedia Don’t think so terrorits! Your propaganda doesn’t work. Well, maybe for the left communist liberals that everybody in the fucking country is laughing at right now, including you.😂🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
English

@Arizona_LP Yeah because people have always depended on capital holders for survival.
English

If the capital holders disappeared the workers couldn't be paid for their labor.

@MatrixMysteries Fiat on steroids just in time for the abolition of labour. ‘Go find new things to do for the tokens, or else’

The left is wrong about AI because it's literally the path to worker liberation but they're to tribal and reactive to see it.
The right is wrong about AI because they're just going to pound ahead as AI becomes more unpopular.
Post-Labor Economics is the obvious path forward.

a tech opinion you can defend like this?

@DrNeilStone You heading over there? Or do you expect someone else to do for you?

@GBullstein Being worried about communism is a sign that capitalism isn’t working.
English

@ResolvingR @scotthortonshow Red scare is ramping up because of China’s success. The amount of attention given to ‘communism is bad’ is taking up a lot of peoples times. I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about. Capitalism always wins.
English

It's typical of commie regimes to project beautiful success and prosperity, while hiding the reality behind the scenes...
The U.S.S.R./Soviet Union was doing similar things for decades, despite its ugly totalitarianism and imperialism, both domestically and globally.
The 'wealth' shown in these propaganda clips usually shows the cities, skyscrapers etc.
It suggests "See? Communism works! Even better than capitalism!".
Nowhere to be seen is the extreme poverty, inequality, and horrid conditions of the working and peasant classes elsewhere in China...
Or the Gulag (Laogai) prison network, for that matter.
They need to project the image of a virtual utopia. It's a commie tradition.
Life can be relatively good in China, as long as you go along with the regime/ideology of the CCP
@XVanFleet What you reckon?
As a footnote - amusingly, the workmanship of many of the building structures in China is very suspect.. It's almost like the CCP were in too much of a hurry to achieve prosperity.
You can't fake true success

China: *abandons Marxism for Friedmanite quazi-free markets 40 years ago*
American: “Wow, Marxism is working great over there.”

🇨🇳 Communism is superior to capitalism. China is PROOF!
English

@ChrisRossini All you have to do is read Marx Lenin or Mao to see that.
English

@ChrisRossini The idea that communism is an alternative to capitalism and not a consequence of capitalism is an anti-marxist western invention.
English

This is how I see it...
China is not Communist in the sense that the state owns all the means of production, and there are no market prices (you need at least 2 owners of property for a market to develop).
The U.S. is also not Capitalist.
We don't have sound money, free markets, and respect for private property. Only hints remain.
Both the U.S. and China are a marriage of State & Corporations.
The difference is the hierarchy.
China's hierarchy is State over Corporations.
America's hierarchy is Corporations over the State.
The Chinese state clearly puts China first, and corporations have to conform themselves to that. The Chinese trade with the world and don't invade the world.
America puts everything but America (and especially Israel) first. America invades the world.
The results of both hierarchies are crystal clear.
China is thriving. America is bankrupt.

@Paleoliberty20 This is a myth. Bohm-Bawerk misinterpreted Marx and there’s even Austrians who show that.
English

Bohm-Bawerk laid bare Marx's contradictions and thoroughly exploded his reasoning and methodology well over a century ago.

Nobody has ever been able to debunk Karl Marx.

@Tusharufo2 Make enough wealth power and then form ‘government’ to help avoid loss.
English

In a free market, I can’t sell bread at 100× the normal price. Competitors will undercut me, and even if I buy them out, new ones will keep entering. That cycle never ends.
Predatory pricing fails because the moment I raise prices, customers leave. Cartels fail because members cheat and new entrants break in.
The only reliable way to maintain a monopoly is through the state. By trading favors with politicians, I can use government power to block competitors under the guise of regulation, public safety, or national interest. In reality, those rules exist to protect cronies like me. This can only happen publicly when the government passes regulations, because regulations are the public face of cronyism.
Thus contrary to what dumb socialists think, solution is to protest and ask removal of regulations not billionaires and capitalism itself.

@WDemocrat51476 @JayinKyiv Crazy how many Americans ignore the fact that the global reserve currency is USD.
English

LIAR! The EU and others have been charging Tariffs on US goods for decades. We need to get some of our money back.
Trumps Tariffs have resulted in $2K-$3K dollars given to every US citizen this year.
If they want to be Competitive to US Manufacturers they the Foreign Companies Must Pay the Tariff.
