@Chainsword40k I’m woke and a new fan and I’m enjoying spending all my money on ultramarines

Once again, GW proves they have no idea what players want. They expect people to just buy their latest Krieg minis and paint them yellow, or maybe paint them green so you can have Catachans, or paint Cadians red so you can have Vostroyans. Who needs different sculpts anyway? Oh wait, wokes need female miniatures. Why did GW not just say you can kitbash female Custodes instead of making specific sculpts? Because the wokes would be mad. Who cares about long time fans? Fuck them. Why have variety when you can just reuse the latest CAD designs with mirrored poses so the designers can save money? Just paint your Ultramarines red and your Kriegers yellow so they can cut costs on sculpting and focus on pushing the latest political agenda to milk tourists. Next edition, one set of rules for every chapter and every regiment so the rules writers will not have to work so hard. Just paint your Ultramarines red and use their rules. Who cares if you want Blood Angels? Variety is for wokes, not for you.

@SoftInsanity @LavenderGhast Complete and utter laziness and a fundamental misunderstanding of the relationship krieg has to steel legion. Are ww1 soldiers the same as ww2 soldiers? No. So why does GW act like steel legion is the same as krieg? Just utter laziness. An ignorant insult to armageddon fans.

@SoftInsanity @LavenderGhast Upgrade sprues would suffice. Its all we really need. Steel legion though needs to get at least their infantry unit and maybe even the emplacement unit. Thats the only 2 units they had besides a commisar, wich they could just make a commemorative mini for if we really need it

Ok bud, First up, owning miniatures doesn't mean you respect the lore or actually value 40k and what story those minis hold. People can simply buy them because they're "cool" looking, and not understand what they are or what lore they have. (example my mom bought 40k as a gift to me, simply because she thought it looked neat and cool, that doesn't mean my mother is a fan of 40k or understands it, also it was also tau, thanks mom😑) And you "owned" them? So you sold or gave away your minis. What value you had in them wasn't enough to hold onto them. This and the fact that you stated that nothing is canon in 40k, tells me you have no real interest in 40k anymore as you devalue its lore and world building. Where as i still own all of my miniatures I bought, I own practically every faction from 40k because I'm a kitbasher, and bash or sculpt new models into existence that still don't have an official release simply cause I'm a craftsman that enjoys the craft, But even as a kitbasher, I still want GW to make an Armageddon Steel Legion for the simple fact that it shows admiration and growth in the community for those that love that faction, it's what a true fan would want, more minis for more people to enjoy, Instead you reject that notion simply cause you see no value in the miniatures for multiple reasons. And hence why I don't consider you a fan of 40k, for you just don't care enough or respect the value of the minis and reject the demand of new models, and dont care for the lore or for the longevity of 40k, By all means, your not a 40k fan.

@NornQueenKya Exactly this, especially when GW used to have models for a ton of different regiments back in the day despite having way less money and resources. They can absolutely give us more varied guard stuff but are deliberately choosing to prioritise marines over them instead
