@XTIDUP @fREQUENCYCS @FPSHEAVEN If you select display scaling you are still using GPU scaling since what you choose is ignored unless you create 2 custom resolutions using CRU. Nowadays with the last few Nvidia GPUs have better scaling so no need to change it.

@acunderler @fREQUENCYCS Since your xmp/docp profile is 6400 it's likely you are probably running at FLCK=memclock 1:2 instead of 1:1. Worth dubble checking and going with 6000mhz at 1:1 for better performance.

The sliding of player models is quite significant. You can also more easily predict where the target will strafe because of the body's leaning. It is quite noticeable and easy to recognize. The game runs like butter too. Lower-end systems will love this update. Servers will perform better as well due to AG2's update. A good reminder that networking is one of the most overlooked aspects of performance optimization. A great update, well done and keep going. @CounterStrike

@itsHemu2K Once disable,you will lose Ethernet/Wi-Fi reporting in Performance tab,graph will be stuck at 0,also no reporting in task manager when programs download something it will be always at 0,you should include that info and name make users scratch their head why things don't work

Windows runs a service called NDU (Network Diagnostic Usage) in the background by default. It Silently monitors your network data usage and is known To cause Memory leaks over time. Here's how to disable it : - Open regedit (Win+R → regedit) - Go to : Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Ndu - Change "Start" value to 4 - Restart Value 4 = disabled. windows will no longer load the driver on boot. Result : LOWER idle ram usage. ZERO downside. TAKES 30 seconds♻️

@cybershoke While cs2 has had some issues during the beta, this is also just how any game engine works if you think about it for 1 second. New rendering object > schedule work to be queued > fps goes down since there are more things to render. Maybe I'm missing something?

Same as in CS 1.6, CS2 has an FPS rendering issue where your fps drops when an entity moves toward you. This was especially noticeable in CS 1.6 with software rendering. In CS2, it can still be "used", particularly on PC's where your FPS can’t keep up with the server load.

@bardozVAL @wapaaam Make sure you go into the DRAM menu and if you enable Memory Context Restore you also need to enable power down enable as well. Same goes vise versa, disable both if they are not synced you are gonna have a bad time.

@wapaaam yeah the mobo also sucks tbh, asus doesn’t seem to play well with ddr5, I HAVE to use memory context restore to be below 60s boot time, and then it just crashes sometimes

Capture card, zero latency audio (as low as I can get it in Windows) even with looping it back to the second computer (hours of troubleshooting), cleaning up a ton of processes and services, the usual tweaks in the BIOS for 7800x3d, and DAMN games feel so much better. Obviously 99% of the difference is just in no OBS replay buffer running, but even just that is massive. Static feels way easier now, expect big scores in the next few days. Also 120fps super clean VODs are SHARP, and my capture card can do up to 240fps at 1080p if I want deeper analysis of my VODs. Only issue is that ONE 3min replay buffer is 1GB lmao, but worth it. Now I need to save up to buy a 1000fps camera, and I have to commit to writing driver-level software to analyze mouse data, as user-level (mouse tester style, which I rewrote completely for my own needs) is too high-level and subject to Windows weirdness. The end goal would then be to buy this: totalphase.com/products/beagl… Basically with $1000 more (500 for a used Sony ZV-1 for 1000fps, and 500 for the Beagle) I get very close to having all the building blocks I want for much deeper testing of peripherals and performance. So excited

@ThourCS2 @CounterStrike Well i agree with you the Cs2 engine is not a smooth feeling one right now and could be improved in a lot of areas. 700 average does not equal you being at or above your hz and you should know enough to understand that's not how things work.

600Hz and 700 Avg. FPS, still @CounterStrike doesn't feel smooth enough compared to CS:GO. 🥲

@HeroVaxy @ThourCS2 @CounterStrike I'd recommend that you look into PBO and also try and disable things you don't use, such as virtualization/bluetooth etc. Just don't change something unless you know what it does, you're gonna be fine!

1% Low FPS got improved by 7% after Today's @CounterStrike Update on my system, Avg. FPS remains similar. 🫡

@HeroVaxy @ThourCS2 @CounterStrike Unless you are using an A620 or B840 series motherboard (those 2 have limited overclocking), it's unlikely that upgrading it will yield any improvements in overclocking or performance.
