On behalf of the people of Sikkim, I convey our deepest gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, for graciously coming all the way from Kolkata despite his demanding schedule of responsibilities, engagements, and meetings. His esteemed presence has made this occasion truly special and stands as a great blessing for our state. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all the citizens who gathered from the early hours of the morning, travelling from different parts of Sikkim to warmly welcome our beloved Hon’ble Prime Minister. My sincere appreciation goes to the office bearers and dedicated functionaries of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, along with all their frontal organisations, including the Nari Wing, Youth Wing, Chalak Wing, Sports Wing, Students Wing, and Contractor Wing, Culture Wing as well as members from every section of the party. I further express my gratitude to the Hon’ble Speaker, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, Hon’ble Ministers, MLAs, Advisors, Chairpersons, Political Secretaries, and all dignitaries of the Government of Sikkim. I also extend my sincere thanks to the Chief Secretary, DGP along with all officers and employees of the Government of Sikkim, Police and Emergency Services, and officers from the Government of India, for their dedicated efforts. My gratitude also goes to various NGOs and social, spiritual, and community organisations, including representatives of the 21 communities, ex-servicemen, sports bodies, university students, retired armed forces personnel, Sarathi members, sportspersons, retired government employees, ASHA workers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Anganwadi workers, for their valuable presence and unwavering support. Special thanks are due to all spiritual representatives, including Lamas, Jhakris, Pandits, and other esteemed members of various spiritual organisations. With a deep sense of gratitude, I warmly invite all of you to continue this spirit of unity by joining tomorrow’s programme on 28th April 2026 at Paljor Stadium.
