In an industry full of AI filler images for quests and achievements, I just want to take a second to appreciate Marathon's Priority Contract images.

@buttaz024 @maevesfw Just because everyone has an op item doesn’t suddenly make it fine, everyone had a WSTR pre-nerf and that was boring too. It’s just boring gameplay when basically every encounter is bubble + grenade + shotgun spam.

@SolAstravir @maevesfw Self revives are fine. The fact that they're so easy to come by everybody should have one then nobody should be overpowered. So I don't know why you're complaining about that. Some other things could be nerfed but not the self-revives they're fine the way they are. You run out...

Marathon pvp being degraded to bubble shotguns and grenade spam so soon is sad as hell

@Im_JustGhostly @paul4ner 3rd capstone upgrade gets you access to 2.5k enhanced (green) sponsor kits, completing the rank 10 priority contract line gets you access to 10k deluxe (blue) sponsor kits.

@paul4ner Is there a Level requirement for it??? Or just need to complete a Quest they got for it

ran low on weapons for cryo and thought i just buy a 10k premium kit for a run but turns out they are below 5k value

@VULFHAUSE_ It sucks but explosives are the only reliable counter to Destroyer pushing with his shield so it's probably the intent.

After encountering 3 rooks within a 5 minute span, why does Destroyer shield not block claymore damage at all dude there's no way i'm tanking 500 gorillian damage to the ankles

WSTR Combat Shotgun finally got a deserved nerf, we'll see if every fight stops being decided entirely on which team has more WSTRs.

@chro_Mia Had a genuinely frustrating session today because my group kept outplaying teams with more gear than us but they were often engaging from high ground so they would just self-revive and we auto-lose the fight anyway. Idk how to remedy this without full removal but it's kinda lame.

is it just me or does the mass availability of self-revives in marathon actually make the pvp so much worse

@Timothy_Mark7 It feels a little bad but I also think it's fair. If I could buy every gun I like then there'd be no excitement in looting. Schemas seem pretty common from cargo drops and transport drones, they're items that let you buy a few copies of rarer things not normally in the store.

@maevesfw @MarathonDevTeam Absolutely, my biggest feedback in playtests was that it feels so bad when you clean a lobby but there’s just nothing to do. There always needs to be major events every run.

I love getting this lobby music in Marathon because it's such an odd balance of comforting and hostile. The little chime shortly after readying up is sublime.
