@Betsycashmoney Hitters don’t have an approach, they are looking more max exit velocity, they don’t change the approach on 2 strikes, lots of strikes and fly balls popups, less contact hitters, more power, smaller ball parks less room for balls to land way better outfielders

Question for baseball fans: Why are batting averages so low now?!? I looked at some baseball stats today (for the first time since childhood lol) & I was SHOCKED. There used to be like 40 guys who finished the season above .300, now there's like 5?! Are pitchers just that good?

He absolutely is a negative defender. He has an incredible arm and good speed so he is capable of making top-tier plays. But he is one of the worst outfielders in his routes and jumps and literally had 0 catches with a <70% catch probability over the last 3 years until a couple weeks ago.

There is just NO WAY anyone who has watched Ronald play defense every game this year believes Ronald is a negative defender. This metric has not watched Ronald at all - I can assure you.

@ShortStopBall I've watched almost every game for years. He's rated poorly b/c he gets jumps like a blind man. He runs fast and has an elite arm. That saves him.
