@Mortdog I'm not sure if this is relevant. But I feel like there's a lot of things the industry hides from employees like how much your work is worth to them and how much they actually make, hiding the actual worth behind investments and the company value.

I’ve been seeing a lot of bad industry takes lately… Half of me wants to make a video to discuss it and try to educate more people how things actually work in game development. The other half wants to play Astro Bot.

Competitive integrity is completely out the window when a new team gets added 1 hour before tourney starts shaking up every single dropspot in the lobby. And it clearly shows in the quality of the games today I'm angry but it is what it is just take it as practise and take it to LAN I guess 🥴 Hopefully all tournament organizers learn from this and adapt for the future if they care about quality of gameplay^^
