A very difficult video to watch - an embarrassing one to this TV3 reporter. Three things happening in this video 1. A journalist obviously misleading the public and his guest and doing that with so much confidence 2. A Journalist on a forceful attempt to shape the narrative in a direction completely different from the reality of his guest 3. A citizen who is narrating his reality and refusing to allow a journalist to gaslight him and tell him how to feel about his reality 1. At the time the NDC government was taking office on January 7th 2025, the exchange rate was GHc14.75. At no point in this country have we experienced Dollar exchange rather in 2025. For journalist to boldly peddle such lies and attempt to use that to mislead a citizen and solicit a skewed response from him is not only shameful but also dangerous to our society 2. For the journalist to tell the citizen that, he doesn’t know which part of Ghana he (the citizen) lives cos he knows a lot of people who tell him everything is going on well and perfect amounts to gaslighting. It is to say, the citizen doesn’t know his reality and he’s probably delusional about his own existence. If you were sure about the realities of the country, you would not have gone to the streets with microphone and camera to speak to people. Not a fair approach to your audience Surely, His boss in the office will have a conversation with him after sighting this video. We are all learning and I’m sure he will do better next time. The fact about this government running a contradictory economy hasn’t changed. It remains the only government on the history if this country, who has cedi appreciating in the books of the Bank of Ghana but highly expensive for business men. BOG still reports dollar to cedi at GHc10.34 and yet, no Ghanaian business man is able to get dollar for less than 12cedis in this country. That’s a real Problem and no journalist will be allowed to let us feel delusional about this reality.

After Justice Kyei Baffour issued a bench warrant for Kevin Taylor, he retaliated with insults and false accusations against the judge. Thanks to the President, Vice President, Attorney General, Defense Minister, and pro-NDC Supreme Court judges, the warrant has been quashed under questionable circumstances. Our democracy is suffering, and the judiciary appears compromised. This is not the reset Ghanaians voted for!

They had every opportunity when I appeared before them for vetting but they chose to ran away. They had every opportunity when they were in power for 8 years to have me prosecuted but they failed because there was nothing they could find. Now they have resorted to desperate smear press conferences and infantile fabrications. If they want a second round of vetting, I am ready for them. It is not a crime for a Member of Parliament to patriotically and diligently seek the protection of public resources and state assets pursuant to our constitutional mandate of oversight. Those on the side of truth and justice can never be intimidated. I shall remain focused on President Mahama’s exciting reset innovations which we are on the verge of implementing at the Foreign Ministry. For God and Country. Ghana First.

I am appalled at the despicable behaviour of @AfenyoMarkin towards Madam Gifty Jiagge Gobah - the Clerk to the Appointments Committee of @parliament_gh. This shameful behaviour is unbecoming of a Leader of the august House. I am absolutely certain he would not have dared to do this to a male Clerk of Parliament. Madam Gifty Gobah has been a staff of Parliament for 18 years and deserves the respect her office commands. Such misogynistic and narcissistic behaviour must be roundly condemned by all well meaning members of society and Parliament itself The Clerk of Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, must formally raise the issue with Rt. Hon @askbagbin, Speaker of Parliament. After the House has passed the Affirmative Action Law, we cannot condone and be complicit in such uncouth behaviour. Madam Gifty Jiagge Gobah, I and many more decent people stand with you. Be encouraged and stand strong with your head held high. Your poise and composure even when you were under the barrage of insults is remarkable. Such a role model for our daughters. Be calm! 🦁🇬🇭
