Youtube has me feeling frustrated and conflicted. I spent about a week of recording, editing, and researching my video on rock breaker to assemble the highest quality, most cinematic guide I could, but it significantly underperformed like more and more recent videos I made. My crafting video took just a day, with some off camera testing that I related over b-roll I had saved in my drive from other filming experiences. It significantly outperformed all my other recent videos. The lesson I'm learning is that timing is way more important that quality and thoroughness. My channel won't survive anymore unless I change, and that hurts.
