@OrbitStudios I know this will be hard for the climate cult, but airplane engines require fuel. Flying across an ocean uses a lot, and they didn’t have enough to get back. The US has rules AF ignored, so they were denied entry. Canada does not, so we were saddled with them. ✈️

@gedbub @OrbitStudios If you’re suggesting they fly back to France, the finite fuel capacity of the 777 might have come into play. Just a guess.

@TheRealKeean And they get up on their own and walk off their airplane. The wheelchair gets them: - expedited security - no walking - preferred boarding Flight attendants call them “Jetway Jesus” moments. They can suddenly walk after the flight.

At a European airport. Every gate heading to a Canadian city is packed with confused Indians in wheelchairs. Can someone explain what causes this?

🟥 Yesterday I was at Service Ontario renewing my health card. I went in, pulled a number to be served, and sat down on the rows of chairs to wait my turn. In front of me, to the right, were two women in their 60s, conversing. One was talking about Doug Ford and how terrible he was lately. After she had listed a litany of his shortcomings, her companion said, “Oh well, you know, Kath – it could be worse. We could have that Danielle Smith.” Kath replied, “Yes. Good Point.” And they laughed. They then started talking about a recipe – something about watermelon and Feta cheese? And shortly afterwards their number was called to be served. I smiled quietly to myself as I thought about their exchange. If the state of our political leadership is that we are RELIEVED to have a bad/corrupt Conservative Premier, because he is at least better than an even WORSE one from another Province, then the Conservative Parties across Canada need a change. 🤷🏻‍♂️ They need to look within themselves. Urgently! 😌 They’ve got to do better. It cannot be an acceptable standard for Conservative political leaders to be arrogant, self-serving miscreants. And don’t even get me started on the FEDERAL Conservatives! That guy lost elections; is polling at 20%; is unable to get security clearance; has no PLAN except to insult, misinform and obstruct progress; his MPs are miserable, with some abandoning him ... and he still won’t resign?? 😄🤦🏻‍♂️

@Garnet_2203 They’re not “forcing” it to land in Canada, they’re denying it entry to the US. If they had more range, they could go elsewhere, even back to France. Nice spin, Bev. 🤣

Do Zoomers get drafted for a meat grinder like the Vietnam War? Pay 20% mortgage rates? Lose pensions? Have entire industries like factories close down? Wait in line for gas stations due to oil shortage? Every generation has something to complain about. Life is never easy.

@ProducerRobert @USWPColby Canada is playing CEO accounting games to reach the NATO target. They moved the Coast Guard under DND to call it defence. They counted Ukraine assistance as defence. They even tried to include landscaping on bases, but were caught. Lessons learned at Brookfield.

@USWPColby What steaming pile of rhetorical 💩. Whatever reason you've got for this move, it's not because Canada isn't spending enough money on it's military. The country just passed the 2% mark of GDP set for NATO countries. #TrumpEpstein

A strong Canada that prioritizes hard power over rhetoric benefits us all. Unfortunately, Canada has failed to make credible progress on its defense commitments. DoW is pausing the Permanent Joint Board on Defense to reassess how this forum benefits shared North American defense. 1/3

@Julie_Politics @Sgtdubie @guyfelicella And criminals should be pursued relentlessly with the great vigour, and punished severely. Those considering crime should fear the police and the legal consequences of their actions. We have a revolving door bail and parole system in Canada, and we’re all suffering for it.

Dangerous driving is dangerous driving. If a civilian intentionally hit a cyclist with a vehicle over stolen food and broke their leg, they’d likely be facing serious charges. A badge shouldn’t lower the standard for accountability, it should raise it!
Michael Mahoney@MikeTheNavyGuy1

So a Halifax cop thought it was great practice to strike a cyclist accused of stealing food from a grocery store. Pinned the guy against a pole and broke his leg. Over food. Not a violent robbery. No weapons involved. Brutal.

@Julie_Politics @Sgtdubie @guyfelicella Well, mere “yelling” does not pass the test for disorderly conduct, so no. But if you were yelling threats while brandishing a weapon and then fleeing police, perhaps yes. When criminals had a degree of fear of the police, crime was much lower. Now they have nothing to fear.

@SomeTOGuy @Sgtdubie @guyfelicella Causing a disturbance is a criminal offense, do I get to run you over for yelling? Police don't get to pass judgement they get to safely apprehend suspects. Police should be held to a higher standard than anyone else.

@Julie_Politics @Sgtdubie @guyfelicella “Jay walking” is not a criminal offence. It’s at worst a provincial offences ticket. Thief is under the criminal code, as is fleeing police and resisting arrest. We also don’t know what other offences occurred in the commission of the thief.

@SomeTOGuy @RodAVanier @grok When rational debate fails because liberals entire discourse is pretending not to know statistics and publicly available information, you have to resort to extreme measures. My Mom always said "if you act like a child, I will treat you like a child"
