Again, Legislative committee again asked that I, the proponent of the #ForeverCanadian petition, appear before the committee to answer any questions that the Premier or committee may have.
UCP MLAs voted against me appearing and testifying again.
What are they scared of?

It is great to hear today from Justice Brown (Supreme Court of Canada) and Chief Electoral Commissioner that the #ForeverCanadian petition is not calling for a referendum, but a vote at Legislature.
Also, glad Elections Alberta re-confirmed that all signatures were valid.

@PierrePoilievre How about that data leak in Alberta? No comment?

@dckurek Lying, no wonder the Cons are tanking in the polls.
The air force's CT-114 Tutor aircraft fleet was first introduced in the 1960s and is now approaching the end of its life. The Snowbirds will "continue air demonstrations" so long as the planes remain safe to operate.

You don't wait several days to respond if it's nothing... the Liberals have been talking about doing this quietly for years. Kudos the the CPC team for raising it, successfully ensuring this patriotic Canadian icon remains.

This is false. Canadians can rest assured that they will be able to enjoy the Iconic Snowbird formation for generations to come. I’ll be in Moose Jaw on May 19th to say more.

Tomorrow, the UCP led committee to deal with the #ForeverCanadian petition meets at 8:30 AM.
I’m looking forward to being there to see how MLA’s who designed and passed the Citizens Initiative Act, ask Elections Alberta and Justice officials how the Act works.
Parody.

Russia Is Like Cancer—Tumors Now in Canada, Too?
Canadian think tanks have documented systematic Russian interference aimed at fueling separatism in the Canadian province of Alberta.
The Kremlin-aligned network "Pravda" has published a total of 67 articles regarding Alberta since December 2025. Its central messages were: "Canada is falling apart," "Alberta is being neglected," and "Separatism is a grassroots movement."
Another key focus of the campaign is promoting the notion of "deep historical and natural ties" between Alberta and the Russian Federation. To this end, the fact that partnerships did indeed exist between the province and the oil-and-gas regions of the Russian Federation between 1992 and 2022 is being instrumentalized—partnerships that were severed following the commencement of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The objective of this operation is to undermine the unity of Canada—one of Ukraine's most vital allies—to sow distrust in democratic institutions, and to create the illusion of political instability.
