@KevinEspiritu I’ve also already had an ENT sort out my deviated septum, sinuses, tonsils and adenoids out all surgical procedures and these things did help but the ties I’ve got play a part in it too. Gut health also is on the list and something simultaneously tackling. Good luck!

@jules_su I still don't want kids, but I do want to be part of a "village" where I can aid in childcare and take some of the weight off of parents so they're not so overwhelmed and kids are less isolated to the nuclear family

I know this might be a weird take, but this all actually makes me want to have kids *more*. Like, I want to be materially responsible for the future, and be part of raising a generation that will build something effective, instead of giving up and leaving it to the fascists.

1.5 years ago, I lost a dear friend. It felt like death, but we're both still here. Just not in each other's life. Today, I know that I saw more growth in and for him than he was able to compassionately witness for himself back then. Our world clashed because I was ready to hold us through a deeply challenging time, but he wasn't. I knew because the promises he gave into our shared field were massive, but the reality was that the field stayed empty. None of these things happened. Now, a past version of me would have been devastated and deeply hurt. (and there were moments of tears out of honest sadness and grief) But somehow, I was never mad at him. I am still not mad at him. I still believe in him. I still wish him so so well. I still hope life is good and fulfilling. It's because I led with purity, transparency, and honesty. It's because I learned to distinguish between what's mine and what's theirs to hold. It's because I learned that my heart grows when I meet sorrow with compassion, candor, and care. It's because I know the emotional debt will be mine if there is something else I could have offered or cleared up before our paths diverged. It's because I never shut the door out of anger but out of the divine understanding that this wasn't our time and that there was some growth that needed to happen for him. Friends write love stories. Romantic partners write love stories. Siblings write love stories. Co-founders write love stories. Businesses write love stories. We write love stories with ourselves. Strangers write love stories. The neuroscience of change and our bodies shows that we don't really know which one is which. It is only through the desperate effort of compartmentalization that we try to control which of the above hurts us more or less. But if there is one thing I learned through being in practice and offering practice in my work, it's that the body consumes, digests, and makes sense of love in the same way. We fall in love. We see the future. We get excited. We grow expectations and visions. We clash and grow (or not). We rise together. Or depart. We grow, and our heart matures. Love is in any relational field that you occupy. Understanding this gave rise to a relational intelligence and harmony that I never thought was possible. It's a messy process. It ain't perfect. But I am in love with how much containment I find with myself navigating ambiguous moments in relation with others (and myself). Less drama, more peace.

I got turned down from a dream job designing for a brand I’ve been absolutely obsessed with. I applied to be her assistant designer and a rep called and said I was “doing well on my own” which was nice to hear but also I need a job and wanted a reason to leave to NYC asap haha

@mikepantile Your daughters are going to rebel so hard. What happens if you aren’t around for their entire lives (and you won’t be). Will they crumble when you aren’t there every step of the way? You will shape them to be attracted to controlling men who aren’t their father…think on that.

My daughters will go from being under my roof to under their husbands roof with nowhere else in-between. And that is after these men are approved of. This shouldn’t be considered controversial.
