Don’t animate keyboard-initiated actions.
As an example, I use Raycast hundreds of times a day. If it animated every time I opened it, it would make it feel slow, delayed, and disconnected from my actions.
But there’s no animation at all. That’s the optimal experience.

This station is effectively only 20 years old, it's semi-amusing to see the escalators having to be replaced already. Especially when you've seen Wynyard station's old original wooden (!!) escalators working right up until around 2017.

Scenario: buses replace trains so you head to @metrotrains website to find where the replacement stop is. The website shows nothing useful, you can click on the bus pictograms to see where local routes go, but no replacement stops show.

Just had a quick look at Melbourne’s new Town Hall station. Yikes. Who ever did the design work on that needs to never work on infrastructure in Australia again. Bleak, austere, grim. So much grey with some TAFE like splashes of orange and yellow. Hopefully it functions well 😕
