@MiraLimit Its because KH3 went into active development right after release and they already had stuff in the pipeline. When KH4 was announced, this silence wouldve been filled with Missing Link stuff but they cancelled it. And instead of adjusting and explaining that, they did nothing.

Mind you, the only news we got in the last 4 years regarding the Kingdom Hearts series was:
- Two mobile game betas
- The cancellation of said mobile game
- Damage control screenshots
- Merch sales because we're cattle

@Maxemldr KH3 wasn’t that different. KH3 didn’t have full marketing until 2017, 4 years after reveal. So far they just swapped drip feed for silence. FF7 Remake had this exact 4 year radio silence and no one talks about it anymore. When the game is out we won’t even think about this.

The problem with Severance like many other shows out now is the long wait for the next season. Mad Men, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and The Sopranos all released a season every year which always kept them in the conversation and made it easier for people to want to remember.
Even Succession and Better Call Saul came close to doing that besides their last 2 seasons when Covid happened.
No tv show should be having 3 or 4 year gaps between each season otherwise people will move on.

In case your wondering what is happening
These AI companies have been operating at a MASSIVE loss this whole time trying to get people to adopt the technology. But, so far, it hasn't worked. Now, they have to raise prices to actual operating cost and its prohibitively expensive. And even then most of these platforms wont see profit before 2030, long after they completely run out of money.
TL;DR Government money ran out so now they have to charge what its actually costing them and "customers" arent buying anything that expensive
