Islamic Republic’s war against women. Arezoo Badri, a young woman was shot in northern Iran for not observing her mandatory hijab. Arezou, 31, has two small children but is now unable to walk! I first shared these photos and her story on July 29 on my Instagram. Still, the family members have been threatened not to speak out. Her friends tell me Arezou was kind and full of joy. Now she is confined to a hospital bed. Attacking women has become the norm in the Islamic Republic. I call on international media to cover her story and give voice to her plight. #MahsaAmini and Armita Gravand were both killed by the same morality police for not covering her hair. #ArezouBadri
