If the client in question has self assessment criteria, the self assessment will need filing.
If there isn't a requirement to self assess, then yes a removal request can be submitted by contacting the helpline or writing in.

@HMRCcustomers I have a client who sells on Amazon but sells into the EU and Amazon class that as EU sales. Without these sales her doesn’t hit the VAT threshold. Where does HMRC see the sales as being insured
