"I use AI to help me write and read emails and it saves me time" - NO! It doesn't! If everyone is using AI to help them write and read emails, than it's just an extra step. This would only save time if you were the only person in the world using AI to write and read emails.

@Sosowski @Xrayez I don't know. In my experience, I've not experienced hallucinations all that often. It certainly doesn't even seem to be as often as 50% of the queries. However, even at 50% of the queries, it could still be more efficient than writing a complex email by hand.

@Sosowski @Xrayez You're making baseless claims. However, for the sake of argument, let's assume AI tools only have a 50% success rate when creating imagery. I've I can create an image in seconds, I'm likely going to still achieve my goal far more quickly than digitally drawing it by hand.

In gamedev AI is the annoying junior that replies "why?" to the question "but did you test it?" when submitting a PR. I know it can be solved outside of gamedev, and partially in gamedev too, but unfortunately no solution is perfect in our sphere.

This has officially been one of the busiest weeks of the year. 😮‍💨 The first half was the @AMazeFest with @carrionmonster, where we nervously showcased an early version of our new game. Huge thanks to the @PLInst_Berlin for this opportunity, and thanks to our neighbors - @holstingame and #DoYouEvenForklift for a great time at this strange (but in a good way!) festival. From Berlin, we headed straight to @Digital_Dragons, where the upcoming Carrion Viscera gathered even more valuable feedback (THANK YOU ALL). Between setting up the booth and wishing happy birthday to @FrozenDistrict, I also gave a talk about how we measure and boost social media content effectiveness in @bettergamingpro, of which I have absolutely zero photos, so you’ll just have to take my word for it that it happened and there were plenty of tough questions at the end! To wrap up this rather lengthy post, congratulations to @BlooberTeam and @11bitstudios for snagging those well-deserved dragon eggs. It’s a real pleasure to see such a high standard of competition for the best Polish games. And speaking of that – we know that Polish gamedev means quality and creativity, and this year will also be full of great releases. After spending a few days among indie games, I also know that the coming decades will be great for the industry too, since the number of talented young people (whether in age or spirit) is simply overwhelming! 🫰 Thanks for all the meetups, high-fives, and conversations. See you next time! 🫡
