Hey @JoelKatz important question Based on our discussion last night, 1500 transactions per second on the XRP ledger, what is your recommendation for us? In our case, transactions aren’t sent as a steady stream—they’re triggered by journalist activity. For example, if 100 articles are published nearly instantly, that results in ~100 transactions being submitted to the XRP Ledger at roughly the same time for payment processing. Additionally, during major news events, we could see much larger spikes in activity, where a high volume of content is published simultaneously—potentially triggering a significant burst of transactions all at once. Given this pattern, our main consideration is whether these short bursts could introduce any latency or inefficiencies on the network side. From your perspective, would it be more optimal to: Continue submitting transactions immediately as they occur (our current model), or Introduce light batching and stagger them over short intervals to smooth out spikes? Our goal is to scale responsibly without creating unnecessary load, while still maintaining near real-time payments for users
