One thing these indictments all prove is that we need a Constitutional Amendment that ends the Electoral College and makes the winner of our future Presidential elections the person who got the most votes. We did the 18 year old voting right in just over a year. Let's try it.

The evidence shows @TTuberville was an integral part of the coup plot. He should be charged for every crime that the facts of his involvement could support and if convicted, when it comes time to sentence him, he should get the max and no bail pending appeal.

Trump is only going to become louder and more aggressive until his ability to do so is significantly modified. My prediction about how this will happen, is that Judge Chutkan will first hit him with a gag order. We all know that this will have no impact on Trump. However, being the intelligent and experienced judge that she is, Chutkan will go this route first, I suspect, to avoid the “She went straight for detention” cries from Trump’s lawyers. Then, after he flagrantly violates the gag order, she will incarcerate him. Timeline? I’m staying away from that. I’ll just stick with saying I am confident that those things are going to happen, at some point. The idea that he makes it to trial…without that happening….borders on being a hallucination of the most vivid type. Clearly, I think we can all agree….that the sooner, the better.

In order to fill Feinstein’s Judiciary seat while she’s out, Democrats need to have unanimous consent — the agreement of all senators — or, failing that, 60 votes in support. With Feinstein out, that means Democrats would need the backing of every Democrat and independent in the Senate, plus at least 10 Republicans.
