To those hyperventilating about the price of oil and giving dire warnings about sleepwalking into a global collapse, I suggest looking at the price of oil in historical terms (blue line is SPY), or as a ratio of the S&P. Does that look catastrophically expensive to you yet? Looks to me like plenty of room to run.

This app used to be a nexus where quirky people could share strange ideas and reach their entire following with every post
This led to an exchange of new ideas, and made this site a cultural wellspring where culture began
Now you have to play the ai post or list or contentious current cultural thing game to get seen
which is making this app fundamentally worse because instead of allowing for new culture to rise up organically, it just acts as a conformity multiplier
Used to be my favorite app because it was an app where weird freethinkers could have a real voice
Now it's just as mid as reddit or insta tbh

there are real and widely used sayings in russian like “my neck got blown out”, “i decimated my heart”, “i tore my spine off”, that don’t really exist in english, and don’t correspond to any known diagnosis. it’s like the russian language is just chronically hypochondriac.
