@Tyras_Mikhail IGN has been getting away with this garbage for far too long. Ever since they trashed god hand and then admitted they didnt play it beyond the first 10 minutes I havent been a fan of them.

The IGN review of Mouse PI For Hire is like a parody of game journalists. They gave the game a 6/10 (reminder that they gave Black Ops 7 a 7/10) for the following reasons: -Too many cheese references (in a world of mice) -You kill too many people (yes, really. You kill people in a shooter, what a surprise) -There isn't enough noir (in a game inspired by 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons) -Too many references to old movies (in a game explicitly inspired by 1930s cinema) -There's too many arenas where you have to kill all enemies (in a fucking boomer shooter) -The game's story is not serious enough to be a true noir (when did the fucking game ever CLAIM to be a true noir? It's a fucking cartoon) This motherfucker seriously looked at a satirical game inspired by 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons and expected to play LA Noire or some shit. Games journalists are not real people, man.

@RazorwireRPG People are really in your replies here talking as if its not possible to make modifications and tinker with Pipboys after the bombs dropped. Let's say you have some wasteland genius and he wants a laser pistol embedded in his pip boy somehow. Why not?

I'm surprised there has been so little innovation with the Pip-Boy in Fallout. I get it, it's how we interface with our inventory and quests and whatever, but I thought we would of had way more actual gameplay mechanics by now. What if the Pip-Boy had a hacking tool for computers? What if it interfaced with complex machinery? What if we had to collect Vault Door codes to actually access Vaults? What if there was weaponry systems included (a taser, EMP blasts etc). I don't think the Fallout 4 Pip Boy is all that interesting either, as the OG Pip boy interface was so fun (complete with broken and missing sections). I like playing mini games (when the animation actually works, mind you). I also think it's time to move away from the mono colour display (again, I know Bethesda wants it to be a 50's computer, but let's mix things up, shall we? Computers had colour screens in the 70's). I do actually think it's clever how the Pip-Boy is central to everything, but it's time it actually *does* something in the game world.
