You also seem to be unaware that teachers have to take courses in the summer to keep their certifications. If they do not recertify, they can't teach. And this is done without any additional funding from Texas

@Soundchaz3r @DylanMAllman @texasdemocrats I didn't say they got paid the extra $30k, I said with 4 months off, that's what their pay would be compared to a regular full time worker. I am also aware of grading etc. They are not the only profession who has to work outside normal hours.

You are also not including the nights they spend grading papers or the weekends spent prepping for the following week's lessons. If we take 70 hours worked, that is $16.48 per hour.

@NetsRunNba @MicahhParsons11 To put it into more context, in a span on 9 years at all levels of sports (from little leagues/Pop Warner onwards) 188 cases were registered. If you play soccer, baseball, football, hockey, lacrosse, polo, boxing, wrestling, etc. you run a risk for it. Average age has been 14.

Hit in the right place at a very specific time in the heart’s pumping motion caused this. Well known issue by doctors and sport medicine people.

Yoo are we serious?!!?why do we let some people speak on tv?! This was a freak incident but putting fault on another player is wild! They should make some of these guys go over lines or something or not even give them a seat at the table!

Corporations are entitled to do as they please with their product, and you are entitled to consume it or not, but when this boils over to threatening or harassing people, then it stops being passion.
