Money laundering? Bollywood and underworld had close links from a long time since the 1970's. Many films were also financed by the underworld. Why is this important, because to launder money you need a plausible explanation for the money generated. That's where Bollywood comes in. Even when a movie is a flop and no one has seen it, show it as a hit by making artificial "bookings data" show box office collections of thousand crores. Does anyone remember the movie (I forgot the name) which earned more in China than in India? How or why has this so far no come under IT scanner is anyone's guess.

Dhurandhar 1 had a different kind of craze. Pure mania! Almost everyone you meet has seen it and talks about it. It felt organic, like a cultural wave you couldn’t escape. The film pulled in around 1300–1400 crores. On the other hand, Pathan and Jawan? I’ve hardly come across anyone who has actually watched them or discussed them in real life as if they’re “the thing.” No street buzz, no random conversations, no everyday recall, just silence outside their fanbase. Yet somehow, both films magically ended up collecting almost the same numbers as Dhurandhar1, 1100–1200 crores. How?

And where is the money going to come from? Already significant amounts go for revdi schemes hidden under each of the Ministry allocations. It is also proudly claimed as an achievement that 80 crores are under a permanent free ration scheme with no conditions attached. What has it affected? R&D budget, Education budget, to name a few.

Most astronomy "discoveries" are inferences which again rest on theories that are "observed" so far away from the phenomenon that again is close to an inference. Fact may or may not match these inferences. So, given this status, it is every bit possible that they extrapolate the Puranas information and give it a astronomer twist and term it as "discovery".

sometimes i wonder if those scientists read the Puranas and then come up with theories... like the age of the universe... from 6000 years scaled up to some 4.5 billion. (they probably mixed up the 4.32 billion lifespan of universe of which around 2 billion have passed according to Puranas) or how they discovered that there are above 8 million species on earth. ancient India said 84 lakhs (8.4 million) and yes, HUGE oceans are described, too.
Amazing Physics@amazing_physics

A cosmic ocean exists where no human has ever sailed. Astronomers have detected a water cloud 12 billion light-years away, holding an astonishing 140 trillion times the water in all of Earth’s oceans combined. It is a discovery so vast that it stretches the imagination, challenging our sense of scale and reminding us how tiny our world truly is. This cloud, seen in the early universe, hints at a time when galaxies were forming and black holes were already shaping their surroundings. The sheer quantity of water suggests that the ingredients for life are not confined to our solar system — they exist in unimaginable abundance, waiting silently in the cosmos. Scientists are stunned not only by the scale but also by the implications. Water, essential to life as we know it, appears in massive quantities even in the distant past, meaning that the universe may have been capable of supporting habitable conditions far earlier than previously imagined. Every observation opens a new window into the chemistry of the early cosmos. Looking at such a cloud evokes both wonder and humility. The enormity of space, the age of light reaching our telescopes, and the invisible forces shaping galaxies remind us that discovery often comes cloaked in awe. This water cloud is a monument to the mysteries that remain, whispering of worlds and possibilities we have yet to encounter. And so we are left with a quiet reflection: billions of light-years away, water flows in quantities beyond comprehension, reminding us that the universe is filled with secrets that continue to stretch the limits of human curiosity.

@TVMohandasPai @nsitharaman @BSNLCorporate BSNL is not a viable commercial entity due to absence of a corporate work culture by the employees. Their employees seem to think that they are doing a favor to the customers and treat them with disdain. How can a company be profitable when you treat your customers badly?

Madame FM @nsitharaman please explain what is the benefit to citizens for this huge infusion of tax payers funds? You are covering up the huge losses of @BSNLCorporate , propping up a very inefficient co which earns so little. Is there no better use of hard earned money of taxpayers? Is losing tax payers money a proud achievement? @FinancialXpress @FinMinIndia can you give us a cost benefit analysis please? Very wrong to pour our hard earned money into a deep black hole!
Nirmala Sitharaman Office@nsitharamanoffc

For BSNL, our government has provided three revival packages totalling ₹3.22 lakh crore. We have dealt with the burden of oil bonds, addressed the “Fragile Five” economy, and undertaken bank restructuring and recapitalization. These were not small amounts but those of ₹3 lakh crore - ₹4 lakh crore, and now even fertiliser subsidies. Wherever there were weaknesses in the economy, they were left unaddressed earlier, and we are now paying for all of it. Yet, we are being questioned about GDP growth and fiscal deficit. The reality is that we are clearing the liabilities left behind. On spectrum allocation, after our government came to power, spectrum in bands such as 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2500 MHz and 3300 MHz has been provided to BSNL at auction-determined prices for 4G and 5G services. On BSNL, I must respectfully say that every criticism made against it is incorrect. If anything, BSNL was pushed into a critical condition earlier. It was in the ICU, and we have revived it and brought it back on track. The Union Cabinet has approved revival packages for BSNL. The capital infusion between 2022 and 2023 stands at ₹2.26 lakh crore. This includes spectrum allocation, capital expenditure on infrastructure, AGR dues, and restructuring of the PSU. The Make in India mandate for BSNL is a strength, not a restriction. There is no restriction on BSNL. In fact, under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, BSNL has placed an order for 1 lakh indigenously developed 4G sites for pan-India deployment. As of 28th February 2026, 97,906 sites have been installed with 4G equipment, out of which 96,103 are already operational. Additionally, the BharatNet Programme is strengthening BSNL further. An amount of ₹1.39 lakh crore has been approved to extend optical fibre connectivity to all villages across the country. - Smt @nsitharaman in Rajya Sabha

@NalinisKitchen At the output level German factory worker produces more in 34 hours work than what a typical Indian factory worker does in 48 hours. Many varied reasons exists for such disparity (some justified and some unjustified) but that is no the point.

India average work: 48+ hours per week Germany average work: 34 hours per week In India, we are taught to work hard and hustle more to achieve success in life. But quietly, people are losing their personal lives and struggling to balance family time. This is why many choose to leave India and settle abroad.

VIP inspection means a photo Op session for publicity. What knowledge do the VIPs (which is mostly politician and senior babus) have about quality norms and techniques for "inspection"? Just riding on an AC boat on the river does not mean you are "inspecting" it. This money can be better put to use to ACTUAL cleaning operations of the Yamuna river.

South Korea : Hello,.....hello ...hello....... India : Mr Trump, PM will respond back to you....... People in India are not prepared to pay for quality. They want cheapest products which is their prime criteria for purchase. Be it a car of a packet of kurkure, price/cost is the primary basis. Any buyer in India even if he/she is purchasing a car above price of 15 lakhs rupees still compares the competition primarily on "kitna Km. per Litre" basis!! Features come later. For edibles like Kurkure, it is price, price and price. No thought about quality, health and other concerns. That is why such difference in the product sold abroad and in India. Add to the that the completely useless and incompetent FSSAI you have a disaster on your hands when it comes to enforcing food product safety norms.

7 Foreign mercenaries caught by NIA, were training Myanmar rebel groups like CNA/CNF , PDF, none of these groups are Anti-India or have fired a single bullet against Indian forces, Infact these groups have destroyed Anti-India militants camps of VBIG(Valley Based Insurgents group) & NSCN in Myanmar which are supported by Myanmar army. Myanmar army is the one who trains and arm anti-Indian militants. These PDF rebels are fighting Myanmar army not Indian government. Ethnicity of these rebels is Majority Buddhist and Christians. CNA/CNF is the same Myanmar rebel group which destroyed PLA( anti-India) group and killed their leaders after they conducted ambush on Col Viplav Tripathi in 2021. Pics below- 1). PDF rebels with PLA(Meitei insurgent group flag) after destroying militant camp, and UNLF militant camps in Myothit,Myanmar. 2).
