Bluebells are out. Foxgloves are in.

We’ve been meaning to come and find the derelict church in the woods at Bedham for years. Today was the day. And it is stunning.

We’ve come to visit an old friend at Wilmington

While we were orchid-hunting we stumbled across this one, the eggleaf twayblade. Yup. That’s its name. A common green-flowered orchid we’ve probably overlooked for years.

We found our first early purple orchid at Blackcap last night. Always a thrill.
