In recognition of Mental Health Month, the SSPS teamed up with Paws and Boots for Good for a meaningful visit from therapy dog Floki. Coordinated through the service’s Wellness program, the visit offered a moment of connection and support for our officers and members.

SSPS, @OPP, @ONtransport conducted joint commercial motor vehicle enforcement in @TownofBWG. 23 inspections, 8 out of service, 46 offence notices, 2 plates removed. Violations: unsafe equipment, insecure loads, improper licenses, overweight. Thanks to our partners #RoadSafety

SSPS assisting w/Coroner’s Office investigation of sudden death in Innisfil. May 4 @ approx. 3:50PM, SSP responded to medical call on St. Johns Rd. EMS on scene - female in 60s pronounced deceased. Scene held pending post-mortem by Coroner’s Office. No risk to public safety.

Single-vehicle collision near County Rd 88 in BWG. 20 y/o male from Innisfil charged with careless driving & novice driver BAC over zero after losing control on Hwy 400 & entering a construction zone. Thankfully, no injuries. Zero tolerance applies.#DontDrinkDrive
