The Red Sox and Nationals honestly feel like perfect trade partners.
Nationals have one of the best young offenses in baseball and are coming out of a rebuild but still desperately need high-end young pitching.
Red Sox have a ridiculous amount of young pitching depth and badly need another impact bat.

@EdHand89 Right but my counter point to that is I think there is a lot of Ryan Watson type pitchers on the market/easy to find. Him being rule 5 makes it even easier to return him, not like you gave up anything to get him.

I like Blaze Jordan. He’s also a right-handed first baseman with a limited power upside who doesn’t walk
He was also Rule 5 eligible and netted an extremely valuable reliever

I would actually consider this pretty great, it's just that they can't consistently score more runs than the opposition and you need to do that to win games.
