@sjblakemore I don’t have any data or statistics on this, but in my experience, the answer is a strong yes. Every committee I’ve ever served on has been 1 male presenting person for 2-3 female presenting persons

Do women in science (and in other jobs too) get more requests to do admin roles and sit on committees/boards/panels than their male colleagues? Is there any data on this?

Just in case people are curious what it feels like to be a “jr. colleague” in research psychology. “Please solve the problems we haven’t been able to solve, but if you critique the things that I do that aren’t working, you are improprietous and will need to be put in your place”
