New details emerging on the difficulties in U.S.–Iran negotiations: As of now, Iran is only willing to commit to not developing nuclear weapons, while the U.S. is pushing for concrete steps to reduce enriched uranium—either by selling it, transferring it abroad, or diluting it. A major sticking point is the Strait of Hormuz: Iran wants it under its management, while the U.S. insists on full freedom of navigation. There’s also no agreement on financial relief. Qatar has stepped in with a proposal to provide Iran a $12B humanitarian loan. Notably, Lebanon is now part of the broader framework under discussion.

China is a police state, high surveillance, facial recognition, social credit scores, where the government can shut down your bank account if it doesn’t like what you say, there’s no freedom there. It’s the illusion of safety. The state has all the power and if it wants to, they can disappear you. for whatever reason. America has freedom, but that also allows people to speak out to say what they want to do what they want and along with that comes crime. It requires a state that is willing to punish criminals, which much of the West has abandoned that principal.

China is the world's best ever definition of a High-Trust Society. Name another country in the world where you can wheel around millions of dollars. I'll wait.
