@BevJacksonAuth@HelenWebberley What evidence to the contrary? There are hundreds of people myself included who will tell you GGP saved their lives.
It’s very unlikely I would have survived the nhs waiting lists without the help I got from GGP
@HelenWebberley Your unshakeable belief that your actions are “life-saving” - despite all evidence to the contrary - is terrifying. It reminds me most of the complacent smirks of Jehovah’s Witnesses. But at least they aren’t prescribing powerful, inappropriate drugs to distressed teenagers.
I could have said very early on that we wouldn't include children in our services.
I would have avoided a LOT of hate. I would have still been successful in adult demographics.
But by doing so, we'd be denying a whole generation access to life-saving medicine.
I knew from the start that I wanted our services to be open to anyone who was certain about altering their gender identity.
Because to do otherwise would hurt young people so much more in the long run.
@mac_puck He has a CIFAS marker and he is a politically exposed person (PEP) no bank would take the risk. It’s nothing to do with his politics. Just normal bank risk mitigation.
People are finding Farage's banking problems funny.
They don't realise what is happening: there is something in his financial affairs that means no bank will touch him.
Farage is desperately trying to get out in front of a story, like Matt Elliot when he was found guilty.

@georgebellstarr I hoped as much but I’ve heard enough stories of issues with consent. I’m not sure I’d be happy being intubated by a inexperienced person.
@georgebellstarr Question does the patient get a say in if a junior or paramedic gets to practice on them in the same way we do if there is a student Dr at the GP or on the Ward?
@OakesMarianne I’ve talked about this a bunch recently. Lots of people saying the UK is terrible for trans people etc etc. But I don’t really see it reflected in reality after 7 years of being out.
I love how my daily life is ordinary, no drama, no confrontations with transphobes, and just people getting on with letting others get on with their life. It’s like twitter, the UK press and Tories live in an alternate universe and not actually the real world. #RealWorldTrans
Help needed.
Speaking of mine workings - I'm running a poll to pick the cover of Martyn's forthcoming caves book, thanks for choosing the title btw. Poll in next tweet or reply here. 1/2
@StarlessRiver@VertebratePub Hey on the bright side at least we’re in control of immigration now and look at all that extra funding the NHS is getting 🙄
All our Christmas gifts to our overseas publisher friends have been returned having failed at customs. If any pro brexit people want to get my opinion the politics of this, now wouldn’t be the time. FFS.
If you were being honest with yourself, do you have a certain stereotype of people with a southern accent?
I ask because the comment section in the latest video is very interesting. It’s clear that the commenters do not understand how incredibly successful these individuals are.
@NomeDaBarbarian You should read The power of habit it really helped me to understand how habits are atchually formed and how we can force that with cues.
Atomic habits is also good supplementarity reading on how you can really make use of habits once you know how to form them with your brain.
@KtotheRod@DrSamiSchalk I’m sure you are but I hope your letting kids volunteer. As someone that’s dyslexic I would be mortified if someone voluntold me to write on the board.
