@AmjadAbedi I feel uncomfortable in this world. Lies, deception, hate, division, pessimissm or cruelty are all energies I perceive that make me feel uneasy. I struggle with this a lot, and even though I am growing away from it, it is a slow process. I am far from perfect.

@OJA_reliable @JacobsBen An opportunity to qualify yes. I fully agree with you. Just not an opportunity to play in the biggest stage because a greedy guy in a suit thinks it ok to let 25% of nations qualify so he and his buddies can make more money.

@OJA_reliable @JacobsBen I have watched a ton of great teams and player in my lifetime. You can't name one in those 2 squads. You can also find "emotion", "thrill", "effort", "heroism" in amateur leagues, nobody is debating that. Im saying E.g.: Netherlands 1998 would have beaten both team EASILY

@SpaceTuareg @JacobsBen It's sad you write off there effort to hold Switzerland down, you can even commend the heroic display of the goal keeper. I don't know if you only watch football from the attacking aspect, but football is more than just goals, the Qatar was solid at the back kudos!

@Jakwecho_ @JacobsBen Up until 1994, there were only 24 teams in the World Cup. There was a very good reason for that. In any case, you got a point. We should create a real world cup based off merit, so that the best teams play the best teams, and not this snooze fest we are subjected to.

@SpaceTuareg @JacobsBen If you want good football then create a tournament for top 30 or top 20 football nations. The World cup is for everyone. Just like the FA cup in England is for everyone. Do you complain when top epl teams are matched up against tier 4 or tier 5 teams?

@Jakwecho_ @JacobsBen The World Cup has never been for everyone - hence why there is a qualification in place, even today. The FA Cup is a ridiculous example. The World Cup has the same prestige as the Champions League, and you don't see subpar team players playing in there.

@Jakwecho_ @JacobsBen World doesn't mean "free pass" for teams that wouldn't make a 3rd tier league in any domestic top country. And it also doesn't mean to lower the quality of the tournament so people feel "represented". It is a FOOTBALL world cup by the way, and I want to watch GOOD FOOTBALL
