It breaks my heart that I see some of this loss of confidence in my wife lately as we move into our mid 50s. The irony is that I find her every bit as beautiful today as the day I met her. While I hate this, part of the problem is that people of the left have lost all belief in real, altruistic government being possible for the benefit of people. They simply don't believe that a Republican would/could be any better than the people scamming them now, so why bother? They think everyone must be like them - morally bankrupt and self serving.
