I’m excited to announce a partnership with @Uber. As part of this, Uber plans to invest up to $1.25 billion in Rivian and deploy up to 50,000 R2 robotaxis. This partnership accelerates our path to Level 4 autonomy and supports our goal of building one of the safest autonomous platforms in the world—across both shared and personally owned vehicles. The combination of Rivian’s rapidly growing data flywheel, our in-house RAP1 inference platform (800 TOPS), and our multi-modal perception stack provides a powerful foundation to scale autonomy quickly and responsibly over the next couple of years.
Rivian@Rivian

A fleet of R2 Robotaxis is coming exclusively to @Uber. ⚡🌿 Today, we announced a partnership to help both companies accelerate their autonomous vehicle plans across 25 cities in the US, Canada and Europe by the end of 2031. rivn.co/uber

1. I actually hope rivian succeeds. I’m not praying on their downfall. I had an R2 reserved but got the model 3 out of fears of bankrupty in rivian. Also, the reason why these companies aren’t partnering with Tesla is because Tesla knows they have the best software stack in the industry, make their own cars and created their own platform for rides. They vertically integrate for the highest profit margin and control possible. Likely Tesla doesn’t want to partner not the other way around. Lastly, I have a model 3 with full self driving and I haven’t manually driven my car in like 6 months lmao.

@briandstone @brian_mac8419 Most of the cost of insurance premiums is determined by zip code that’s it. Claims and violations do add to it but regardless the zip code is a majority of the makeup.

@brian_mac8419 That's CRAZY. I pay $140/mo for a Model X Plaid, double the cost of the Y. I guess it's a regional thing.

Why in the world is Consumer Reports quoting these insane, unrealistic insurance rates for Teslas? I’ve never heard of anyone paying $400/mo to insure a Model 3.

@briandstone Per consumer reports….interesting…I’ll give my insurance company a call to see what they say.

@FooteMiles @R_Delval13 @Richard_arch74 @RJScaringe @Uber These guys are so heated at you for spitting facts. Rivian is a failing company and R2 will enter production hell and has a chance to bankrupt them let alone get to fully autonomous vehicles in a time frame that could even compete with Tesla.

@LordCharizard33 The fact that hype and quick flips run the hobby rn sucks. 151, as much as people like it, should also not be at the price it currently is simply because its going out of print. Sealed products for it are reaching prices that other sets took over a decade to reach

@ntwork CarPlay just landed in Lucid Gravity while Rivian and Tesla still act like it's beneath them. Sometimes the best flex is just giving customers what they actually want.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are beginning to roll out to Lucid Gravity via a complimentary over‑the‑air update. I’ve been testing the software over the past few weeks, and I think our owners are going to love it. The rollout will take several days to reach all owners in North America and is scheduled to deploy to customers in the Middle East and Europe toward the end of the month. media.lucidmotors.com/en/newsitem/10…

March 31, 2026 will be the ten year anniversary of the Tesla Model 3 unveil. I put a $1,000 deposit down that night. As blown away as I was, this product changed my life even more than I could have imagined.

$NVO deciding to end the dispute with $HIMS — even reluctantly — is a clear demonstration of the strength of the Hims platform. With more than 2.5M subscribers in the U.S. alone, a number that could grow to tens of millions, $HIMS has built one of the largest direct-to-consumer healthcare distributions. For pharmaceutical companies and treatment providers, being on the Hims platform means immediate access to millions of patients. One of Hims’ stated goals is to offer the widest possible variety of treatments, bringing as many providers as possible onto the platform. The partnership with $NVO not only removes a major legal overhang that was already priced in, it strongly validates the core thesis behind $HIMS. Owning distribution is an enormous advantage. GLP-1 is one of the most important healthcare markets of the next decade, and it will likely be one of the first categories to show the value of Hims’ distribution and its growing range of treatments. As Andrew Dudum said: “You will have more and more treatments on the market very quickly, and this will make prices go down dramatically.” Not great news for big pharma. Amazing news for whoever owns the distribution.
