I am torn. DeSantis is a brilliant mind. I have met him, heard him lecture - there are few who are his match intellectually - which is why he belongs on the Supreme Court.
On the other hand, he is the most effective manager of a large bureaucracy that I have seen in my lifetime. For instance, I could see him being an excellent Vice President pick in 2028.
That talent, which could really help the USA for decades to come - would be wasted, if he was on the Supreme Court.

Fraudulent ballots, fake signatures, etc... In Illinois, I sign the outside of the envelope. Not that hard to copy my signature at that point.

No verification needed. Just sign and vote. Its criminal.

One US dollar is now 1,672,500 rials. Iranians can't afford anything. Even eggs are luxury items. There are endless blackouts and shortages. The internet has been dead for 2 months. Iranians are the most medicated people on Earth (antidepressants). Children are set to be hanged. People are randomly arrested for expressing opinions and have their properties taken from them. Everyone is praying for their oppressors to be eliminated. Everyone is praying to not be abandoned.

@RealUncleTesla In a tesla, the 15 hour trip becomes a 20 hour trip. My toyota avalon has a 540 mile range. I only stop for full bladder and meals. I can take the direct route because gas pumps are everywhere. Tesla needs to do something about the charging deserts.

Yesterday a friend told me about a 15 hour road trip they took last week and how grueling it was. I told him you gotta get a Tesla and let it do all the work while you sit back and relax.
His response was:
A) he wouldn't trust it because he heard they get into a lot of accidents
And
B) he would want a car with a solid state battery
I told him about the stats of FSD being 8x safer than a human driver alone but he said he heard the opposite. 🤷🙄
He then went on to say he wants to get an EV Toyota because he thinks they'll be able to make a better EV.
The general public has no idea. 😵💫

The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

Today's VRA decision is intellectually dishonest and wrong. The conservatives basically said: Black people can vote for their preferred candidates, as long as they prefer the right candidates -- which will be Republicans.
An absolutely mockery of the law and stain on the court.
