If you think the Somali fraud is bad, buckle up for the forthcoming reckoning over VA fraud. Nobody wants to talk about it because it inherently requires criticizing “veterans,” but the problem isn’t going to fix itself. There’s an entire cottage industry that helps “veterans” defraud the VA at the expense of veterans that are actually disabled. The culture has become so toxic and entitled that ALL veterans are advised to pursue a VA disability rating, regardless of the nature of their service. In fact, there’s now people joining specifically to pursue easy, lifetime “disability” payments. This behavior is enraging to people who are, or know, genuinely disabled veterans.

@CalebJHull I know a guy who served 8 years in the early 80s in the motor pool. He got out, drove truck for the next 20, then worked in a plywood mill for another 20 and now has 70% disability for his knees. That shit is absolutely not service related and it annoys me to no end

Every veteran I know is “disabled” and taking advantage of this broken system. About time we start fixing it.

@thecavemommy Its not that deep. As a first time parent, we tracked everything for a couple of months. Then, you figure it out. If an ongoing issue arises, yes track that shit. If not, your baby is fine. All you need is to love the hell out of it. Everything else takes care of itself

Yesterday I talked with one of the largest sheep ranchers in the great state of Idaho. Pendleton used to buy his wool until last year. Apparently they started using some foreign wool instead. We just bought 12k pounds from him as a sample run and if successful we will be partnering with him going forward. He can offer us up to 80k pounds annually. This is how we win.

@CrimsonDesert_ As a suggestion, I would recommend taking a look at how games like Skyrim, Kingdom Come Deliverance or Cyberpunk control as examples. Also if you guys could add a quit button to the menu to leave the game instead of having to go to the tittle page would be appreciated.
