Since my books really don't sell (and I mean REALLY, as in never), when they do sell it bemuses me. This month I have sold 7 copies of The Giant's Walk, several in paperback. There has GOT to be a tweet or a review out there, prompting the sales. Yes?

@RayGunEtiquette @HouseofMourthia There is no question that the second half undoes the first and completely ruins Russell as a monster. When your ultimate message is, "Yo, girls, don't worry, the abuser has a small peen," the grindhouse and the horror are kind of negated.

Absolutely. I do a thorough read on the PC. Then I create a Kindle version and read it on my Kindle. Then I get a hardcopy proof from Lulu and read that. The Kindle bit is especially nice, because even as the work is in draft you get a sense of its readability.

So I've shut down my blog. Yes, all of a month ago I announced that I was reorienting from Twitter to my blog. Then I did the math and realized that was silly. Instead I've become a paying inhabitant of Elonistan. It's cheaper, for one thing. It was odd deleting my virtual server. Yes, I made a final extraction backup of my website, but it's not as if I will ever resume programming such a thing. A milestone, indeed.
