Imagine working on something for such a long time and with that much passion and a few weeks before you are done, you are informed that the plan has changed (again ...) and that we actually no longer care about any of the things that we have told everybody for years. It's really hard to put into words how disappointed and betrayed I felt after hearing this decision, especially in the absence of a possibility to even question or discuss it. It just felt so incredibly disrespectful and I will most probably never be able to see this as anything but a massive and completely unnecessary capitulation before the finishing line. However, since I still feel a commitment to the community and my colleagues and because I don't want to harm the project, this will be the last and only time that I publicly ventilate and I will from now on try to focus on the positive aspects: 1. IOTA will finally be decentralized which puts an end to this unbelievable odyssey. 2. IOTA will finally have L1 SC's utilizing an object-based move (which is currently the best VM in the space). 3. IOTA will have a state of the art bft-style consensus. So for anybody that didn't get interested in IOTA for it's vision, this might not even be such a bad thing (at least we forked the right tech). I am trying to give this a chance and stay with IOTA but it will most probably take some time for me to fully regain my enthusiasm. Right now it's time for others to take the stage and excite you and hopefully me as well with their new vision.

Okay friends, I just received a juicy bit of alpha that I can't possibly keep to myself. After speaking with some key builders in the #IOTA community, I will say that we can expect a certain company to launch a 9-figure RWA project (USD 100 million+) on IOTA in one month's time🫨

The @IOTA #EBSI Team now officially finished the final phase 2B of the @EU_EBSI #PCP project yesterday with a dense 6 hour workshop summarizing the 805 pages final report. We had a very good discussion with the @EU_Commission on various aspects of the tech and use cases.

Sitting down with the @IOTA 2.0 whitepaper, there's a sense of coming full circle. #IOTA began with a simple proposition: let's build a system where we all help keep the #Tangle wheels turning. The essence was pure collaboration, a bit like the Internet in its early days – organic and communal. I validate your transaction; you validate mine. It was a beautiful, yet complex #entangled dance of mutual support. Now, #IOTA introduced this concept called #Mana.
