Terren doesn't trust Duncan, Cailan, or anyone else at the war camp. He wants to take the blight cure and sneak away. Yet, he feels compelled to stick around and study the darkspawn, and the humans, up close. He wants to bring as much new knowledge as possible back to the clan.

I wish Origins would let me be a Dalish mage. I don’t want to be a Circle elf stuck in the tower

Terren longs to fulfill a purpose he innately feels. He needs to be a leader. He needs to protect his family. These are the true goals that guide him in moments when he must make serious decisions. Thus, leaving the clan for the Wardens is the greatest pain he ever felt.

Though Terren often believes himself invincible, his moments of vulnerability humble him. His respect for his clan, especially his elders, is paramount. He takes his responsibilities and relationships seriously. He loves his kin, and he knows he has much to learn from them.

@onedcdame I played the city elf origin mission lately and I do think it’s the best one
