@drowwpoison @magikyuri even if he isn’t a legend, it’s not hard to believe that his name got added to the menu solely to commemorate him. who’s name gets added to the menu isn’t really a strict thing in the afterlife. imo jackie and david are there for different reasons

@screwjobsteve thats fine! Their resilience and strength to survive is very special to me so I am attached to them, but everyone has different experiences with V and their story!

@drowwpoison I mean V is only cool because I do cool shit with them. I personally don't feel attached to the character aside from maybe the nomad route but idk

@drowwpoison Tbf atleast for me having done multiple playthroughs V just strikes me as corny with the tough guy act, it doesn't feel genuine. Just a few days ago i got the sidequest where they rob a dinner with V in it and it plays out like a Redditor wrote it, even Johnny feels more genuine

@WcAnders_ I really like David’s story! I like that is way more grounded than V’s and its such an amazing intro to the world

@drowwpoison Tbh I think it’s because David’s story can be more relatable and is benefited from being able to see him vs being 1st person with V. V def has more Aura though

@Airplane_AJ I agree, the chip helped V escape death which is crazy, but apart from that its killing them and getting worse as the game progresses, so I think V deserves more credit than they’re just special bc of the chip idk

@drowwpoison David was solidified as a legend before edge runners even existed his drink was in the afterlife long before the show... He's a legend but V is a different breed thanks the construct

@drowwpoison david's story resonates with people more because it's about a guy born in poverty whose only opportunities come from his mother's and his own usefulness to the system. when they turn him into a lab rat, he bites back and gets put down, but he did bite.
