Playing (and enjoying!) Snow Bros. again made me think about why I also love Bubble Bobble so much. Both games let you use enemies in clever ways, but the feeling you get while playing them is completely different.

This game is FINISHED. Going to play it for a while and see how it feels in the deep stages - might want some balancing there. Variables may be changed but nothing's going to be added (despite having 7 or 8 bytes spare!) 🐫

@SpectrumNez @scaryfish Oh interesting, I didn’t realize you could customize the page in such ways. sounds like MySpace for game pages. Steam has a lot of rigid structure, specifics it wants that take a bit of creative thinking, and also the volume of graphics it requires and things you must do

Creating the Steam Store page for a game is a lot of work.

@scaryfish @polygrafix That’s good to hear! I think it’s probably because I insisted on using GIFS to make the page look as alive as possible & then I had all sorts of issues with mobile responsiveness. e.g. I have a table on the page that doesn’t render properly on mobile. I gave up on it in the end!

I've changed the name of my game from "Silk Road Trader" to "Silk Road" so that I might have enough memory to put my name on the title screen. Memory is THAT tight! 😅 But it's also that close to being finished. 🤞
