He immediately dismissed the recipe for being wrong because of wettuce being on top of slomato and was very sure of himself. But yes, Reuben sucks too.

@SpelunkerQueen @little_ampharos in certification class, mung was moreso eccentric than egotistical because he was just trying to make the recipe in HIS way and tbf, reuben was being a complete dickwad by purposely bending the rules of cooking, thus provoking mung daal lol

So is Mung from Chowder actually a bad chef? Is that the joke? As a kid I only watched season 1 where mostly Endive makes fun of his cooking, but in later episodes I realized more characters start doing it lol
