@pie6k True, I use the Wave DX. But it isolates and normalizes volume well, and I like the sound better than Adobe’s, a little too much bass for me. I haven’t tried a worse mic to gauge its performance. I’ll see if I can run my MacBook mic through it, not sure if it allows

@SpencerMartin Do you notice a big difference when using it? What is your mic? I assume some decent/good Elgato mic ?

Sadly - Adobe Podcast Enhance will not be integrated with Screen Studio Adobe does not offer private API access anymore We had the option to do it in the past, but it was too costly for us then A bit sad, as it still seems there is nothing close to how Adobe Podcast does it

@pie6k I’ve been doing this for a while, works well with the touch pointer. I record the desktop while mirroring and zoom in a little to get the phone in full frame. Easy enough to add other zooms as needed, usually I don’t. Example vid: youtu.be/QADeD90v_n8?si…

Started working on "iPhone Mirroring" integration with Screen Studio (macOS Tahoe). If you record your phone on macOS Tahoe using iPhone Mirroring, it will automatically add the phone frame, properly crop the recording, etc. The advantage over recording the phone directly via USB cable is that we know where you 'tap' your phone (as you do it by clicking), whereas we don't know where your finger is on your real device, so Screen Studio will be able to add a touch indicator, create auto-zooms, etc. Drawback is that iPhone Mirroring seems to relatively often drop frames from your phone.

Added a "Recording Flag" feature. During recording, you can press ⌘ + ⌥ + ⌃ + F (customizable) at any moment to create a flag. Later, you can see those moments on the timeline. It might be useful, e.g., if you make a mistake and want to remember to cut it later on.

@pie6k Is it possible for crop to be including in Screen Studio presets?

@pie6k On the masking timeline, it would be helpful to be able to draw multiple rectangles on a single mask! It’s very common to have multiple areas of private information on screen at once that can’t be efficiently covered by a single rectangle.

Added the option to highlight certain parts of the recording. I think it can make recordings easier to follow in many cases. Released now in Screen Studio Beta.

@pie6k @casp3ro_ Awesome! Saves a step in Premiere. Will it allow for multiple masks at the same time? Like one in the upper right corner covering an email and then one center for the login info etc.

Small feature I forgot to mention. You can now toggle "smooth waveform" mode. The smooth one seems good enough for most people, but some of you mentioned you'd like to see a more precise waveform when editing videos. There it is.

Added 'plain circle' Click effect to screen.studio Sometimes there are those 2 conflicting factors - I want some effects to be 'signature screen studio', but I also want to keep them simple. Tried to make it just a little bit more smooth than linear animation.

@iannuttall @screenstudio I’ve recorded 700 tutorials with @screenstudio in the last year. My workflow is to edit in app, and then upload the video to Adobe’s Enhance (podcast.adobe.com/enhance). If it’s too long, I have a workflow to upload the audio only and replace before exporting from Screen Studio.

I love recording videos with @screenstudio so much, but the "improve microphone audio" option makes the recording worse for me I have to use Descript to remove filler words and add studio sound audio. Is there an app/oss that can do both? Costing me $30/mo on Descript right now

@pie6k Yesterday's @screenstudio update improved editing workflow SO much! Audio waveform not disappearing, and being able to work with the timeline while watching the recording (trimming, adjusting zooms, etc...) without playback skipping to my cursor is PERFECT. 👌
