Alpha Pod turned 1 yesterday. I never intended to start a Discord, but I'm so glad I did. The rewards are beyond financial. Three reasons it's been worth it: 1. Building. I've never been more energized by my work. Beyond the trade alerts and charts, the Pod has become a real research operation — bots, dashboards, a daily flow report, a public algo, a web app. Having a Discord means I can ideate and ship something new for members every week. And there's been no faster way to learn how to actually use AI than running a business that depends on it. 2. Community. Taking a room of strangers who turn into a real community — building friendships, helping each other, talking shit and being friends — that's been the part I didn't expect. I get to curate the room I've always wanted to be in. And the DMs I get from members about how their trading has changed are the part that keeps me going. 3. Winning. Growing a business from zero to where it is now is just another version of competition. Same instinct as trading. Set the goal, build the process, run the play, see if it works. Year one worked. Year two starts now.

Watch a prop firm clown in the mornings that blows accounts non-stop… Or a trader who has 12 years of real trading experience? Who is your pick?

That guy Anthony Gross pivoted from a “finance” influencer to being a “Catholic” influencer because he needed to grow his following and make money. Dude grinds my gears.

HSBC: STAY ALL-IN ON RISK HSBC urges investors to remain aggressively risk-on, staying overweight equities, high-yield credit, emerging-market debt, and gold, while underweighting sovereign bonds, investment-grade credit, and oil. The bank says markets are driven by U.S. rates and growth—not geopolitics—and sees earnings expectations as too low. It recommends rotating from rate-sensitive high-beta stocks back to mega-cap tech. HSBC expects rate volatility to stay contained, supporting risk assets, especially U.S. stocks, Japan, eurozone banks, and emerging markets.
