@EdoVibeQueen 😢 first daughter/son issues. I hope those who are experiencing same in reality get all the good things they deserve.
English

As a first daughter myself, nobody is going to stress me like that
because what exactly did Monica do to deserve that kind of life?
From the very beginning, she was giving everything her time, her food, her dreams, her future just so her family could be okay. And it wasn’t even out of obligation, she did it with love. But somewhere along the line, that love turned into exploitation and entitlement.
They kept taking and taking until there was nothing left of her. No boundaries, no appreciation, just entitlement. They called it “family.”
I’m sorry but family is not supposed to break you and drain you.
Watching her give up opportunities, her education, even her own happiness just to carry everyone else it was painful because this is not just a movie, it’s actually people’s reality.
And I couldn’t even finish it properly because my anger was just building 😭
Because me I’m choosing myself every single time. Family or not.

I tried watching that Uche Montana/Monica movie but my anger issues honestly didn’t allow me finish it 😭
The moment Monica grew up and became a sacrificial adult
I just couldn’t contain myself anymore. I know it’s “just a movie,” but knowing it’s based on someone’s real life experience made me angry.
My blood was literally boiling, so I just picked up the remote, switched it off immediately and went straight back to my K-dramas because what exactly was going on there? 😭

@JulezJakez I watched Monica and BTS didn’t even come into mind. The ev!l and w!ckedness Monica experienced is something I haven’t watched before.

@JustEniola01 Even the money she gave bobo to start his business annoyed me. You have money like that and you cannot make your hair? Where did she even get money to pay CS fee for that stewpid girl with horrible blush? 😡😡😡😡

@AyeshaLiq Na me be salt na me be pepper… meanwhile, she’s not doing anything o

“Guys, I’m still trying to process what just happened with my neighbor.
This woman has a habit of begging for things, especially when she sees you using something she doesn’t have.
Two months ago, she came to borrow my blender, saying hers stopped working while grinding tomatoes and NEPA was about to take light. I didn’t even think twice, I gave her.
Only for her to use it to grind TIGERNUT and COCONUT (something I NEVER use my blender for because of how hard it is)… and the blender got burnt.
Guess what? She returned it without saying anything. Just told me they took light and she didn’t finish blending.
I didn’t even know until days later when I wanted to use it and discovered it had spoiled. When I asked her, she denied it and even tried to make it look like I was lying.
The real truth came out from her own 5-year-old daughter, who told my child that her mummy was grinding tigernut and coconut when the blender started smelling burnt.
Since then, she stopped asking me for things… but she has been monitoring me.
I finally bought a new, stronger blender.
Tell me why this woman showed up AGAIN yesterday evening to borrow blender.
I said okay… went inside… and brought out the exact one she spoiled.
Immediately she said, “I thought this one was spoiled.”
I just looked at her and asked, “So which one did you want to borrow?”
Her shame turned to anger instantly 😂 but I just turned my back and entered my house.
Please tell me… did I overreact? Or should I still give her my new blender”
