More i think about this tweet the more nonsensical it gets. saying this guy is dead is a headcanon idc how much you THINK he is dead peter literally says jean didnt kill anyone thats the way it is. Jean getting taken into custody is nonsensical we see what happens when she gets taken into custody in this movie and it WOULD be repeated if it happened again thats why peter helps her escape because it is significantly more harmful to have her be turned into an aggressive animal trying to escape than someone who can live another day to go on a better path when she has the powers she does.

Don’t know how I’m supposed to sympathize with Jean Grey in the MCU when she’s out there killing random people for no good reason and suffers no real consequences for it. And that’s not even the only evil thing she does. What an odd way to introduce this pivotal X-Men character.
