You’re truly an idiot. The guy has the biggest movie in the country at a time when media is completely broken. What prior Paramount leadership did with Star Trek is an objective disaster that cannot - or should not - be denied. He should say what he thinks because why shouldn’t he? The notion that it’s “professional” to not do so to protect the feelings of parasitic hacks who have run Star Trek into the ground to push their own personal political agenda is retarded. In fact any one who is worried about the health of the profession SHOULD be saying exactly this because it’s the tough medicine that’s needed. And who made you the hall monitor of entertainment?

Never punch down. Weir should have just said he had some cool ideas for a #StarTrek show Weir is not a pundit, he’s in the industry himself. It’s totally unprofessional and inappropriate for him to say something like this. If someone doesn’t understand that, they’re just making it clear they have no professional experience.

@GraceRandolph Honestly... i wished I liked the film. The acting and directing was great, but It felt like it took too long to tell aspects it didnt need to. It felt like it was trying to be a Coen Bros or Tarantino film without landing the punches and pacing
