This means that the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) calculation method must be applied per exchange. Example: You use two exchanges: Binance and Kraken. Binance Activity 01/01/2025 – Bought 2 BTC Kraken Activity 01/06/2025 – Bought 2 BTC 01/01/2026 – Sold 2 BTC In this case, you must report the sale on Kraken as a disposal of 2 BTC held for less than 365 days. The BTC bought on Binance is not relevant for this calculation, because it was acquired through a different institution.

Managed to run it up from 7400$ to 100k$+ over the course of the last 2 months on perps. Been getting very consistent with trading perps this year. Very good read on the market lately. Feels like I have been able to fix my bigger flaws when trading and its shows on the pnl. Execution, patience, less unnecessary gambling, risk management. Definetely much more to learn but this is a good feedback for me that I am on the right path. Made a lot of mistakes during this period and the pnl could be much much bigger, but noone can play the market perfectly. Looking forward to whats next.🫡
